Blue, Black and Yellow Concentric Dots Egg Sculpture

This egg sculpture was thrown on the wheel, then concentric dots of different colors were painted on then carved out to accentuate the shape. It was then covered with a clear glaze as well as the tripod base it is resting on. Both pieces were fired at cone 6 (over 2200 degrees F or 1200 degrees C). The egg is 6 1/2 inches tall and about 5 inches at its widest. The egg and base are sold together.
